Before joining Kumaon Engineering College, Dwarahat, he has worked in Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS), Pilani, and Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI) Pilani. At present he is serving as OSD, in newly established Technical University of Uttarakhand known as Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.
